There’s something weirdly therapeutic about window shopping, don’t you think? I did a little bit of it last weekend and gathered together this little mix that inspired me! You just stroll around a store, admire something you like,or if you are lucky enough might even find something that’s been on your decorating list.I confess, window shopping is just one of my guilty pleasures!
These virtual hopping sprees are just for fun.Let’s all go skipping through it, shall we?I recently got some retail therapy fix at Marshalls and Homegoods:-), my favorite places to look for unique finds.I especially love discovering small, tucked away, one-of-a-kind pieces with endless decorating possibilities .
What caught my eye is this beautiful array of accent mirrors. So many different shapes that can blend with so many design themes, can easily be one of those room-making things when hung over a fireplace or above an entryway console table.
Don’t even get me started on these unique and stylish knobs-Agate,Quartz,mercury glass finish-such an easy and inexpensive way to add a custom look to store bought dressers, chests etc.
Want to amp up the style quotient without all the nasty sanding/sealing and sweating DIY hacks ,just replace the hardware to turn it up a notch.
Couldn’t you picture an entire kids room designed around one of these Map wall art .I’d do soft gray walls with pops of navy and green accents.
Aren’t the poufs with geometric prints darn cute? They’re such a versatile piece of seating to have around the house , could definitely fit them
into any sort of living space to add texture and a splash of the exotic. All the comfortable and cushy seating makes a great addition to a kids space.
Loved the fabric and the cool chairs-, I could picture them as accent dining chairs or they be pulled up to a desk instead of a stuffy office chair for a totally inviting little home work/office/study zone.
Another gorgeous chair! love the Pin tucked back and nail head trim-so elegant and chic indeed.
Anyone looking to add a bit of vintage flair to their decor-check these out.Would make a great collection !
I thought these mercury glassware ,vases looked glam and so amazing ,they’d look so charming with all that sheen ,just add a few scented candles and they can spice up a console or fireplace mantel.
Love the patch work bench, adds a bit of fun and whimsy to any eclectic space.
This black and ivory console /sofa table caught my attention right away .It had this worldly sort of look and I can totally picture it with some bright
furniture accents may be Red or Emerald Green to jazz up a living room or an entry way table.
Anyone looking for some beach inspired nautical decor, check these out –
Love these shell engraved wooden boxes .
How about dipping some star fish in bright colors ??
Love the sea glass lamps, can fill up the lamp base with seashells, sand ,pictures etc. to blend into the beach setting.
One can draw DIY inspiration from these simple art frames ,perhaps tweak them with custom quotes. I’ve already added them to my DIY agenda:)
Any dog lovers out there?Couldn’t help myself from taking a picture of this cute sign.
